George ARDRON
X (1825 - 1898)
Father: Barnabas
Ardron II (1793 - 1857)
Mother: Ann Hibberd (1800 –
1882?)
Tree extract starting with common ancestor to me:
My 1st cousin 5 times removed was born on 28
December 1825 and was then baptised on 26 March 1826 at the Cathedral Church of
St Peter and St Paul, Sheffield. His parents were Barnabas, a cutler, and
Hannah Ardron. (Marriage record
+ age at death + Sheffield Archives – Baptisms; ref PR-138-2-14, pg 150) However please note I believe his
mother is incorrectly recorded as Hannah. No further evidence (beyond
this baptism record) has been found to show that his father Barnabas (or indeed
any other Barnabas Ardron, and there are only a few) married or was involved
with a Hannah. If further records come to light this part of the tree will need
to be reconsidered/rewritten. The 1851 Census shows his parents to be Barnabas
and Ann.
